Update : Not Recommended, read full post for details. I would highly recommend not purchasing any products from this company. After a lot of hassle I did receive a refund, others haven’t been as lucky I hear. In hindsight I must have been on something that day to even consider testing this product !

I came across an interesting offer recently which looked good for a case study as I could outsource almsot the entire project. This company offered to promote your websites using various methods and basically do all the work for you .

There are some advantages of this system but also some things that concern me. I will keep updating this post with results.

The guy promoting this offer is called Ian and I had a quick chat with him over the phone and he seemed like a decent guy who didn’t hype up the system too much. Some of the copy on the salespage seems a bit hyped and the profit forecast plan also looks ambitious.

Here is a brief summary of the deal…

Cost :  $14 Per Domain plus $3 per Month Per Site

There is also Set up Fee of $100 which gives you credits to build a certain number of websites.

This business model can be complex but as far as I can see they build the sites using a software called Speedlings which sets you back about $6,000 ! There is no way I would recommend spending this amount of money on this type of software but I was prepared to outsource this task on a much smaller scale just to see if the system works.

According to their projections at 2i Passive Websites each site built with their software should on average earn about $1 a day on Auto Pilot after a few months.

You also pay $3 per month per domain to keep the sites updated by the software at 2i. According to the sales page there is a client with over 2000 sites built so that would be $6000 per month in admin fees but 2000 Websites according to the projection of an average of $1 per day would be bringing in revenue of approx $60,000 per month ! ( I did say the salesletter was a bit hyped ! )

And your monthly admin fee per domain is only due for the first 3 months, after which the monthly fee is deducted from site profits.

Here are the details to date , I will keep you posted on the results after the 90 day period has been reached when the websites should start generating profit according to the system forecast.

The domains and keyword selections were sent over on the 19th August 2010 for 7 websites to start with.

I selected my own domain names which worked out at 4 .org domains, 2 .com domains and 1 .net domain.

If you have no idea how to pick a domain name they will do it for you for small fee.
